How to choose between computer and laptop

So, Nowadays it is quite difficult to choose whether we should buy a laptop or a desktop in this article I'm going to tell you everything you need to know about them and I will also try to illustrate all the pros and cons of both of them. Also I will give a brief idea of what you should buy according to your budget and according to your work like if you are a student or gamer or want to do some casual stuff or just want something to keep up with your office work from home.

Computer advantages:

1. Cheaper
2. bigger screen
3. No heat problems
4. Problems can easily be solved in computer
5. Processors and other accessories could be kept up to date with minimum cost

Computer disadvantages:

1. May be a little bit complex to use in comparison with laptops
2. Takes up a lot of space
3. Could not be transferred from one place to another easily 
4. More power usage 

Laptop advantages:

1. Portability (that is, it can easily be transferred from one place to another)
2. Uses less space and could be used in any place
3. Much easier to use in comparison to laptops 
4. Less power usage

Laptop disadvantages:

1. One can not use it for gaming or other heavy processing purposes
2. It is quite expensive in comparison with laptops
3. It is a bit difficult and more expensive to fix some problems in laptops
4. Small screen
5. Because of the small size generally it gets heated very quickly

These advantages will give you a very brief idea of what you are looking for. Also this will give some idea about what is wrong with both of them and what is right with them.
So as I have mentioned above Computer have almost edge in every aspect you will think before buying a PC for you but there is one big and perhaps the biggest advantage because of which laptops were created at the first place and that is portability. If you want to travel with your PC then that’s it you just have to do it there is no other option. But if you are looking for something for home to give you a better experience for just chilling and watching some movies or playing some games then computer is for you man.

What should you choose according to your needs

1. If you want it for home for general purposes like watching movies playing games and also want to use it for office from home then Computer is definitely made for you but if you want to bring it to office too then you should reconsider your decision.
2. If you are a traveler or an entrepreneur then you will need to have a machine in your trips whether it is for business or whether it is for vlogging then Laptop is for you man. Do not have any hesitation in buying laptop over computer.
3. If you are a student then Laptop is for you no doubt about it.
4. If you want a really high performance for working on super high software and for high-tech coding then Computer is definitely for you.

Now when I have told you about what should you buy according to your needs then I should also tell you which type of laptop should you buy according to your work and budget.
Now considering above mentioned points, if computer seems to be a better choice then this is my honest recommendation according to your budget.
But before I suggest you computer according to your budget I should tell you one thing that if you are buying a computer then you should buy different accessories from different brands (only if you ready to gain a little knowledge about building a computer) but if you are not ready to gain some knowledge about building PC then you can buy complete computer from one brand for a little bit high cost and also compromising a bit on performance but if you are buying all accessories from one brand then they will build PC for you for free.

Budget : ₹8000-₹10000

1. Processor AMD Athlon 200GE (3500₹)

And that’s it guys this is a very cheap but quite powerful computer

Budget: ₹10000-₹15000

1. Processor: intel g4560 7th generation pentium dual core processor/ Intel Xeon X5650 Six-Core 2.66GHz Processor both of them are very good if you want coding and high performance stuff I would choose the second one but first is also powerful  (8000₹)
2. Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2 Socket LGA 1151 (6500₹)
3. Cabinet: CHIPTRONEX MX1 RGB Mid Tower Cabinet USB 3.0 or you can also go for Corsair Carbide Series CC-9011050-WW Mid-Tower Steel Gaming Case (2300₹)

Budget: ₹20000+

If you are a hardcore gamer then this might be for you and also for a very low cost.

1. Processor AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Desktop Processor 8 Cores up to 4.3GHz 20MB Cache AM4 Socket or Intel Xeon X7560 2.26 Ghz 8 Core 24Mb L3 Cache Lga 1567 Processor. If you could not afford the first one or you can also go for some amd stuff but if you will be using high performance software like Houdini or Komodo types of performance draining engines then you can also use FX-9590 (10000-15000₹).
2. Motherboard Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 AM3+ AMD DDR3 1333 760G HDMI USB 3.0 Micro (10000₹)
3. Cabinet There are many good cabinets you can choose one of the previous ones for this range also.

Budget: 60000-100000₹

And the final one for those who can afford a super powerful gaming computer which probably will blow your mind its specs

1. Processor i9-10980HK or W-3275 these are supremely powerful but really expensive so yeah if you can afford it man you couldn’t get better then this until you are going to invest like near ₹60000.

OK, now enough talk on computers now lets get into some laptops. Laptops are pretty expensive but you get the option of portability with it. OK so before I recommend you laptops according to your budget, I would like to suggest you the type of laptop you would want according to your need like if you are using it for work like for example: In office for only coding then you should go with Laptops that support Linux, if you are a student and if you want it for coding and for editing then my friend mac(apple) is for you but if you are a type of student who wants to code, edit and at the same time wants to play games as well then you would have to go for windows and for coding and other stuff you might just make another OS like Ubuntu in that system, If you guys want then I can make another blog specially for formatting a computer and making a  partition and for making two OS in one system. If you are a hard-core gamer then there is no option better then Windows, if you are a businessmen then you would have to go for windows only because most of the softwares you want are compatible with windows only. So now you know which type of laptop suits you. So now I can give you some recommendations for some laptops according to your budget and believe me you won’t find anything better then that in that budget and for that purpose.

Super low budget : ₹15000-₹20000

Now under ₹20000 there would be 2 categories one would be a gamer+coder/editing/chill stuff type of category and the other one would a hardcore coder/editor one.
Firstly I would give one recommendation for the first type of category

Category 1 In this budget you would want a small size laptop so that it is much easier to transfer it from one place to another.so my recommendation would be:

1. Lenovo V145-81MT001BIH it is a stylish and a powerfull notebook for just ₹17000. It comes with an AMD a9 9425 processor it is as small as 14 inches and it comes with two variants with 500GB hdd and 1Tb hdd. It also have graphics processor of AMD Radeon™ 530 Gddr5 which can go upto 2Gb ram is pretty good (4Gb) and yeah that’s about it. It is a complete package and it is definitely worth its price.
2. Asus Vivobook X540 it also comes with a 4gb ram and its processor is intel celerion N3050 which is probably a bit better then Amd A9 9425 but the downside is that it has intel graphics Hd series 400 which is outdated also a disadvantage is that it is 15.6 inch long so if you don’t mind a little low graphics and a big screen but could not compromise with performance speed then this might be your choice.
3. Acer Aspire 3 Thin AMD A4 how can I not mention this laptop if we are talking about laptops under ₹20000. This laptop was a game changer at this budget this is the bestseller laptop at this budget. I do not need to give you the specs of this one because you might already know about it.

So these were my recommendation for category 1.

Category 2:
1  Lenovo Ideapad S145 with astonishing specs and powerful performance it is the most powerfull laptop at this range but again you are compromising with you graphics but that is the reason why this laptop is at second category. It has really outdated graphics but it is the most powerful laptop if you are looking for performance only. Here are some of its specs:
• RAM: 4GB
• Storage: 1TB HDD
• Processor: 2.6GHz AMD A6-9225
• Graphics Card: Integrated GFX

2  HP15 DA0389TU once again super powerful but same compromise with graphics. Here are its specs:
• RAM: 4GB
• Storage: 1TB HDD
• Processor: 2.3GHz Pentium Gold 4417U
• Graphics Card: Intel Ultra HD Graphics 620

Budget(20000-40000₹)
Category 1 1 LENOVOIDEAPAD S340 there is absolutely no doubt in this that in this range this is the best multi range laptop. With 8th gen core i7 8gb ram expandable upto 64gb 256GB SSD+500GB HDD NVIDIA® GeForce® MX250 man this is a performance beast. The only problem is its MRP is 54000₹ but at the time of writing this blog its price is 39000₹ at amazon. So I would have to give this the first place by a huge margin.

2 HP 15q ds0010TU
I think its really budget friendly and at the same time giving us everything that we want at this budget. Here are some specs for Hp 15q:
• Processor – 8th Gen i5-8250U
• Display – 15.6 inches Full HD SVA
• RAM – 8GB DDR4-2400 expandable to 16GB
• Storage – 1TTB 5400RPM HDD
• Graphics – Intel UHD Graphics 620
• Ports – 7 connectivity ports

Category 2 1 Lenovo Ideapad S340 Yeah I know I am repeating this but this is so good that I couldn’t resist it
2 Apple MacBook 12inch MNYM2HN/A OK this might not be as powerful as laptops in the first category but at this category we don’t want that much power we want coding and editing. So for this Apple products like airbook or mac book are perfect for this category as in these it is so easy for coders and also the best editing software that every filmmaker or best youtuber use that is finalcutx pro supports mac only an you will also see most of the coders or editors use apple laptops and that’s exactly for that reason. The only downfall is that even at sale it is 58000₹ but commonly you are getting something that is worth 1lakh at 58000₹ then that has to be very good. I think I don’t need to give specs for this one because this one is a laptop that explains why it is good by itself I don’t need to give anything about it.

I am also going to add 2 more laptops for those who want to go for higher budget then under 70000Rs the best buy for you at the second category would be Apple MacBook Air MQD32HN/A Ultrabook here are some of its specs:
• Performance Core i5 LPDDR3 5th Gen 8 Ghz   1.8 

•  RAM 8 GB

• Design 13.3 inches (33.78 cm)1440 x 900 pixels 1.35 Kg, 17 mm thick

• Storage 128 GB SSD  450 GB HDD
And if you can invest somewhere like 1lack Rs then Apple Macbook Pro is the best that you an get. There is no laptop better then this one for this category. I really don’t think that I should give any spec for this one because this is the best seller Apple laptop and you might already know a lot about it.
And finally for Gamers/Students who wants to do gaming +coding etc basically

Category 1
Budget (70000-120000₹)
1 Dell Alienware 14 AW14781TB2A2 This might be a older version but Believe this is one of the best even in 2020. Yeah I am a little bit biased as I also have this performance beast maybe back in 2016.But I am telling you this is a performance beast.here are some of its specs:
Processor Intel Core i7 gen5
Storage 1tb HDD 450GB sdd
Memory 16GB ram expandable to 124GB
Graphics  Nvidia Geforce GTX 2080 Super (Still the best graphics card for laptop)but only 3G variant was available at that time but now 8GB varian is also availale
And together this is a complte package.
2 MSI Gaming GL63 9SD-1044IN
The current best laptop for gaming at this range and maybe will be your first choice at this range. Here are some of its specs:
Processor 9th Gen intel core i7 Ram 8GB 1tb HDD 500GB SDD Nvidia Geforce GTX series graphics and battery backup of more then 8hours.
Now for my last recommendation I would like to recommend  the best gaming laptop 2020 right now.
Alienware Area-51m
I should not give any specs for this one otherwise this blog would be of 50 pages.
